We are here to live out Todd Krampitz's dream - to increase donor awareness!

In March of 2004, after dating for 13 years, Todd and Julie Krampitz were married. In May of 2004 Todd was diagnosed with HCC, primary liver cancer. The summer was spent fighting the cancer and undergoing surgery. Todd was placed on the transplant list in July and in August we were so very gracious and happy that Todd received a successful liver transplant.

The gift of life was given to Todd and us by a family who selflessly gave their loved one's organ. We will always be extremely thankful and grateful to this generous caring family.

Todd recovered well from the transplant and he and Julie enjoyed many happy months together including celebrating their one year wedding anniversary. Todd was still having to fight the battle with cancer but thanks to his gift of life he was able to fight this fight. After a doctor's appointment in April, Todd was unable to recover. On April 20, 2005 , Todd went to be with his Lord and Savior.

Todd will always be with us in mind and in spirit. He has touched the lives of so many and has made a difference in the world of organ donation. He was able to donate his corneas and that is just the beginning. With The Todd Krampitz Foundation, we continue to spread the word because Life is a gift, Give it!
